ARK News.. The Syrian regime announced that six people, including two soldiers and a Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteer, were killed and 12 others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting border crossings between Syria and Lebanon in the countryside of Homs and Tartous.
At 00:05, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression from Lebanese territory targeting the border crossings between Syria and Lebanon in the western countryside of Homs,' the Syrian regime's SANA news agency quoted a military source as saying.
The source added that the aggression killed six people, including two soldiers and the rest civilians, wounded 12 others and caused extensive material damage.
Israeli warplanes launched air strikes at dawn on Wednesday on border crossings between Lebanon and Syria, putting them out of action, hours before the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah came into effect.
The Israeli air strikes targeted several crossings on the border between Syria and Lebanon, including Arida, Dabousiye, Abuodiye, Jarmash and Qammar Bridge (Wadi Khaled), in addition to two bridges at the Dabousiye and Abuodiye crossings.
Lebanese media published photos and videos showing the aftermath of the bombing of the Arida crossing, where Israeli air strikes completely destroyed the bridge between Lebanon and Syria.
The bombing resulted in the destruction of dozens of cars, trucks, buses and border security center buildings on both sides of the border, in particular the two-story Lebanese General Security Centre, which was completely destroyed, the Lebanese newspaper An-Nahar reported.
