Military factions launch attack on regime positions in western Aleppo

ARK News.. Military factions launched an attack on the Syrian regime's positions in the Western countryside of Aleppo on Wednesday morning, while the regime responded by shelling the town of Darat Izza with rockets amid a large displacement movement.

According to a local source, the military factions in northwestern Syria began their attack on two axes in the western countryside of Aleppo, while the regime forces responded by shelling the town of Darat Izza with dozens of missiles.

Media outlets close to Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham reported that the attack was in response to the Syrian regime's bombardment of northwestern Syria.

They quoted military sources as saying: 'The regime's military build-up threatens the security of the regions, and it is our duty to defend our people from this imminent danger that targets their existence and security.

The sounds of warplanes could be heard in most parts of Idlib province, amid widespread displacement from eastern towns towards the interior of the province and the Turkish border, local sources said.

Syrian Civil Defense said that hundreds of families have been displaced from areas in the eastern countryside of Idlib and western Aleppo as regime forces, Russia and their allies escalated their bombardment of cities, villages and towns with airstrikes, artillery shells and missiles on Wednesday, 27 November.
