ISIS terrorists commit massacre in Russian prison
ARK News.. The Russian National Guard revealed that a number of ISIS militants held hostages in the prison and stabbed several employees to death.
The Russian news agency said that the Russian security services shot dead, on Friday, August 23, 2024, four prisoners who held hostages in a prison in the Volgograd region, stabbed four employees to death and posted videos on the Internet in which they said they were ISIS gunmen.
According to the agency, the Federal Penitentiary Service confirmed that the four perpetrators of the attack were "eliminated", and that four of its employees died of their wounds after being stabbed, while others received treatment in the hospital.
It added that eight prison employees and four convicts were held hostage.
According to the source, the hostage-taking operation came after Russian President Vladimir Putin asked the Minister of the Interior, the head of the Federal Security Service and the head of the National Guard to inform him of the developments of the incident.
