Russia establishes military base in Kobani city
ARK News.. Russia and the Syrian regime have established a military base in Kobani city in Syrian Kurdistan, and the deputy director of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation confirmed that measures are ongoing to monitor the cessation of hostilities between the conflicting parties.
On Friday, August 2, 2024, Naval Colonel Oleg Ignasyuk, deputy director of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation, said that the armed forces of the Russian Federation and the Syrian regime forces have completed the establishment of the "Kobani" base in the city of Kobani city in Syrian Kurdistan.

The Russian forces have established two military bases in the countryside of Kobani city in Syrian Kurdistan, one base in the village of "Bir Hisso" around the Qara Qozaq bridge, while the second base was established in the Jabal al-Izah'a area west of Kobani city.
