The President of the Kurdistan Region congratulates Masoud Pezeshkian on the occasion of his election as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran
ARK News.. The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, congratulated the President-elect of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.
Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, said in a blog post on the (X) platform, on Saturday (July 6, 2024): “On the occasion of his election as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I extend, in my name and on behalf of the people of Kurdistan, my congratulations and wishes of well-being and success to Mr. Masoud Pezeshkian.”
The President of the Kurdistan Region added: “We, in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, look forward to developing historical friendly relations and continuing joint cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran on the basis of common interests and good neighborliness.”
