ARK news… A New York jury convicted former President Donald Trump on all 34 counts in a case of illegally paying money to buy the silence of an adult film actress.

Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over the trial of Donald Trump in New York in a case of forging financial documents, said that the sentence against Donald Trump will be issued on the morning of July 11, 2024.

The judge gave the defence team of the Republican billionaire until June 13, 2024 to present its defences, and the Public Prosecution until the 27th of the same month to respond to these defences.

With this conviction, Donald Trump becomes the first former US president to be criminally convicted.

Trump described the ruling as a "disgrace" and that this was a "rigged trial," stressing his innocence of the charges against him, and that he "will continue to fight until the end."
