The fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of Abdul Karim Mahmoud “Abu Yilmaz” in the prisons of the Syrian regime

ARK News: This Sunday. 12. 2018, the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of The member Area Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria PDK-S and member of the Local Council of the Kurdish National Council in Zorava neighborhood of Damascus, Abdul Karim Mahmoud Abu Yilmaz.

Abdel Karim Mahmoud was known as "Abu Yilmaz" Who lost his life in the prison Syrian regime after nearly two years for being severely tortured on charges of belonging to a banned political Party and arming young people in the neighborhood of Zorava, the charges against all activists and politicians opposed to the Syrian regime.

All the Kurds in Damascus testify to his services and struggle, and he Was one of the first participants in the sit-ins, protests, and demonstrations in Damascus, demanding the lifting of the emergency provisions, and he also was subjected for his activities for continued arrests and interrogations by the branches of security in Damascus.

The martyr, Abdul Karim Mahmoud was arrested on 21/7/2013 in of Zorava neighborhood by a security patrol belonging to the Syrian regime and remained several months in detention at the security branches, and then he was transferred to the prison of Adra Central in Damascus, and the martyr Abu Yilmaz was subjected by the Syrian intelligence to the most terrible types of torture without mercy.
