Mihma Khalil: What PKK militants do in Shangal are unacceptable and they have to leave it

ARK News: After Turkey began pressing on the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to close the headquarters of the movements and Parties belonging to the PKK within the province of Sulaimaniya, Asayish Patriotic Union of Kurdistan carried out a campaign against these movements and Parties, where security forces in the city of Sulaimaniya during the past few days closed the headquarters of the Kurdish Freedom Movement of the PKK in both district of Koya and Clare.
In response to what Asayish of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan had done, PKK militants and supporters attacked PKK headquarters in the city of Shangal on Friday evening and took down party’s flags from the headquarters.

On this subject, and in a special statement to the site of the ARK News, Mihma Khalil the Mayor of Shangal said that what PKK elements had done in the city of Sinoni were unacceptable and that the PKK Party is not related to the Kurdistan Region and must leave the region as soon as possible.

Khalil added that the PKK is always the obstacle to the implementation of service projects in the city of Shangal and occasionally attack the headquarters of the Kurdish Parties in this city, with the intention of creating a clash among Kurds themselves.

For his part, Sheikh Daoud Joundi, deputy head of the headquarters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan in that region, reported the ARK News: Apparently what the PKK elements had done were a respond to the security services of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to close the headquarters and offices of parties and organizations or affiliated intellectually to PKK in the city and its areas in the past few days.
