ARK News… Local sources revealed that the Syrian Democratic Forces continue to supply the Syrian regime with oil, while the areas under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces are reeling from the fuel crisis.

Local sources said that dozens of tankers belonging to the al-Qatirji Company, coming from areas controlled by the Syrian regime, crossed on Wednesday, May 23, 2024, through the Tabqa crossing in the western countryside of Raqqa.

The sources added that the tankers headed to the city of Hasaka in Syrian Kurdistan to transport crude oil from areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces to areas of the Syrian regime.

A private source told ARK News earlier that the PYD administration signed an agreement in December 2023 with the Syrian regime, the content of which was to support the Syrian regime with “320” diesel tanks per day, equivalent to (93%) of the PYD administration’s share, and the agreement entered into force immediately after signing.

According to the source, the PYD administration remains with a share (7%) of the diesel produced in the oil fields under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and sells it on the black market at high prices.
