Barzani Charity Foundation helps the oldest people in Afrin

ARK News… The Barzani Charity Foundation provided various assistance to the oldest man in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan.

The Barzani Charity Foundation said on its official Facebook page: “On April 19, 2024, the Afrin office of the Barzani Charity Foundation provided various assistance to the oldest living person named Mr. Muhammad Jabu in the village of Qori Gol in the city of Afrin.”

The Foundation indicated that the centenarian is 117 years old, and the aid included an earphone and household and food supplies.

The Barzani Charity Foundation is the first humanitarian organization that helped the cities of Afrin and Jenderes and their countryside by arriving in the region after the February 2023 earthquake.

On February 19, 2023, it officially opened an office in the city center of Afrin, to continue providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the earthquake. On June 4, it opened a cultural and development center called the “Barzani Center for Culture and Development.”
