Four People Killed and Dozens Injured in Passenger Bus Overturning from Hasakah to Damascus
ARK News… Several passengers died and were injured on Sunday evening (April 14, 2024) due to a passenger bus overturning on the "Homs-Damascus" road while they were traveling from Hasaka Governorate to the capital Damascus.
According to local news networks, a bus belonging to al-Rafidain Company overturned on the "Homs-Damascus" road, resulting in the deaths of 4 passengers and injuring 30 others with varying degrees of severity.
The networks added that the tragic accident occurred on Sunday evening near the city of Nabik while the bus was traveling from Hasakah to the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The news networks reported that the accident was caused by the driver losing control of the bus, leading it to veer off its path and overturn in a horrifying manner.
