A popular market is exposed to fire in the city of Erbil
ARK News… Once again, fire broke out in the Lange market, in the city of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, on Monday, April 8, 2024.
According to Kurdistan media sources, the Civil Defense suggested that the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit, due to the heavy rain wave that swept Erbil last night, Sunday, until Monday morning, confirming that the fire broke out in the same location in the market that was exposed to the fire last month.
According to media sources, the fire damage was limited to material, as the fire broke out in the early morning hours, and shop owners rushed to help civil defense teams in extinguishing the fire, most of which was controlled.
The popular market "al-Lange" is located between 40 Meter Street and 100 Meter Street in Erbil, and includes hundreds of shops displaying various types of goods.
