3 people were injured in the explosion of two mines left from war in the Deir Ez-Zour countryside
ARK News… Three people, including a child, were injured with varying injuries, on Sunday, 18/3/2024, as a result of the explosion of two separate mines in the Ma'dan and Khasham districts in the Deir Ez-Zour countryside, bringing the number of victims of the explosion of war remnants to 79 people since the beginning of this year.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the first mine exploded, killing a young man while searching for truffles in the Ma’dan town, and he was seriously injured. In the second mine, two people, including a child, were injured on agricultural land in the Khasham district. They were taken to a hospital to receive treatment.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, since the beginning of the year 2024, the death toll from the explosion of war remnants has risen to 79, including 19 women and 26 children, in addition to 73 people, including 4 women and 41 children.
