ARK News… On Saturday, 16/3/2024, the Kurdish National Council in Syria in the city of Derik in Syrian Kurdistan remembered the martyr’s massacre of Halabja by standing for (5) minutes in front of the office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria.

On Saturday, March 16, 2024, coincided with the 36th anniversary of the bombing of the martyred city of Halabja, which killed “5,000” civilians and injured thousands more. On March 16, 1988, the defunct Iraqi Baath regime carried out a chemical attack on the Kurds in Halabja.
