Mother of a minor kidnapped by SDF: She is my little daughter. Why are you burning our hearts? Give her back to us

ARK News… The mother of the kidnapped girl, Aya Muhammad Yahya Hammam, for the purpose of forced conscription by the Syrian Democratic Forces in Manbij city, east of Aleppo, appealed to release her and return her to their care.

In a video clip, the mother of the kidnapped girl told ARK News: “Aya went to school at eight in the morning and did not return home, and her classmates told us that the Revolutionary Youth had kidnapped her.”

She added: "Since her kidnapping until this day, we have visited all the centers of the Autonomous Administration affiliated with the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the Women's Committee, and the Military Council, but they denied having her and knowing any information about her."

She appealed to the mother to release her and return her home, saying: “She is my little daughter and I want to check on her. Why are you burning our hearts? Give her back to us.”

The Revolutionary Youth Movement, affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), kidnapped the child Aya Muhammad Yahya Hammam (13 years old) on March 4, 2024, while she was on her way to school.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Syrian Democratic Forces have kidnapped more than 20 minors from the cities and towns of Syrian Kurdistan.
