Afrin... An elderly Kurdish man sings about his return to olive trees
ARK News… A Kurdish citizen from one of the villages in the countryside of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan sang about returning to the land of his fathers and grandfathers, after a refugee journey that lasted for years.
In a video sent to Ark News, an elderly Kurdish man from the village of Semalka in the countryside of the city of Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan appears singing the praises of his return.
The Kurdish elderly man says in the video, “For more than 5 years, I have been away from the “blessing” of my land and the olive trees. Thank God for the return, and my heart, which is attached to this blessing, needs more than one visit to it to forget the years of exile and refuge.”
