Deir Ez-Zour: A mine left over from the war claimed the lives of two children and injured a third

ARK News… Two children lost their lives and a third was seriously injured, on Sunday, 25/2/2024, as a result of the explosion of a landmine left of war near the International Coalition base, north of Deir Ez-Zour, bringing the number of victims of the explosion of war remnants to 55 people since the beginning of this year.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that two children lost their lives and a third was seriously injured as a result of the explosion of a landmine left over from the war near the Konico gas plant, where the international coalition forces are stationed, north of Deir Ez-Zour. The injured child was transferred to a hospital to receive treatment.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, since the beginning of the year 2024, the death toll from the explosion of war remnants has risen to 21 people, including a woman and 17 children, in addition to the injury of 34 people, including a woman and 26 children.
