Iranian militias target the al-Omar field base in Deir Ez-Zour
ARK News… Coinciding with American forces conducting military exercises at the al-Omar field base, Iranian-backed groups targeted the base with a missile salvo.
Syrian media sources said that the Iranian-backed militias targeted the base of the Al-Omar field, east of Deir Ez-Zour, on Saturday (24/2/2024), with a missile salvo.
The sources added that ground anti-aircraft guns attempted to confront the missiles, but no information was received about human casualties.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, American bases inside Syrian territory have been subjected to 120 attacks by Iranian-backed militias since October 19, 2023.
