The regime raises the prices of telecommunications and Internet services in Syria again
ARK News… The Syrian regime's Telecommunications and Postal Regulatory Authority raised the prices of telecommunications and Internet services in Syria for the second time in less than 4 months.
The Authority said in a statement published on its page on the social networking site Facebook, today Wednesday, February 20, 2024, that it has raised the fees for basic telecommunications services and “value-added” services by 35%, indicating that the raise will be implemented as of next March 1.
The "Syrian Telecom" company published a list of fixed telephone and Internet services "via DSL gateways", in addition to the "Tarasul TV" service.
In November 2023, the Authority raised the prices of cellular, fixed and Internet communications services by 25-30% on the basic tariff for cellular communications services, and 30% on fixed communications and Internet services.
