Qamishlo... The Syrian Kurdistan Writers Union holds a political lecture
ARK News… Under the title “The general Syrian political situation and the specific Kurdish situation on the local, regional and international scene,” the Syrian Kurdistan Writers Union, on Wednesday, held a political lecture in the city of Qamishlo.
The lecture was delivered by Ne'mat Dawoud, head of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, and was attended by an elite group of writers, intellectuals, jurists, and feminist organizations.
During the lecture that took place in the Union’s office in Qamishlo, Ne'mat Dawoud spoke about the stages that the Kurdish issue went through during the years of the Syrian crisis, “with its negatives and positives.”
He touched on the positions of international powers towards the Syrian crisis and the Kurdish issue at this stage, and the extent of the impact of regional and international conflicts on the Syrian and Kurdish situation.
