Nov 18 2018

ARK News: The Russian Defense Ministry revealed returning of more than one and a half million Syrian Syrians to their homes, which they fled them because of the war in Syria, and that among these 270 thousand refugees were in abroad.

In the framework of the voluntary return of displaced, Russia said that nearly six thousand people have returned to Syria since last week only.

This return does agree to the European State and humanitarian organizations, which fear that refugees will face persecution on their return to areas under the regime control in the absence of a comprehensive political agreement.

In a related context, the US special envoy to Syria, James Jeffrey confirmed that the file of returning of Syrians will not be completed as long as the returning is not safe.

Amid of conflicting international statements on Syrian refugees, UNICEF says the first nine months of this year have seen the highest number of children killed since the start of the conflict in 2011, with a total of 877 killed in air strikes.
