Six thousand militias prepare to attack areas in Kurdistan Syria
ARK News: “Al-Hamzat Band” group, which is one of the most prominent opposition factions is preparing to participate in a possible Turkish military operation against the Kurdistan region of Syria.
The group includes about 6 thousand and 500 of militias and formed in 2015 to fight the state terrorist organization, and participated with the Turkish forces in the operations of “Direh Al-Ferat” in Al-Bab and “Olive Branch” in Afrin.
"Now we are preparing for a possible military operation against the PYD militants in Kurdistan, Syria, and we are training our soldiers for that,", Saif Abu Bakir, the commander of one of the groups belonging to “Al-Hamzat Band”, whose forces are undergoing military training in the city of Izaz, said in a statement to the Turkish Anatolia Agency.
