Masrour Barzani: We have fulfilled our obligations and duties, and now Iraq must send the financial benefits
ARK News… The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, on Wednesday night, September 6, 2023, confirmed that the region has fulfilled its obligations and duties, and that the federal government must send the region’s financial entitlements.
The Prime Minister said on the (X) Twitter platform previously: “We passed the federal budget on the basis of rights and duties, and we fulfilled our obligations and duties, and now Iraq must send financial benefits to the Kurdistan Region.”
The Kurdistan Regional Council of Ministers had confirmed in its session that Baghdad must send financial dues to the Kurdistan Region monthly according to the budget amounting to one trillion and 375 billion dinars, of which 906 billion dinars are allocated to salaries, so that the Kurdistan Regional Government can pay salaries.
