The Syrian regime is working to impose a security cordon on the city of Aleppo
ARK News… The Syrian regime is working to impose a security cordon around the city of Aleppo from several axes, by deploying barriers separating the city into two eastern and western regions, for fear of the demonstrations spreading to the city's neighborhoods.
Syrian media sources said that the National Security Office of the Syrian regime in the capital, Damascus, issued a circular to the security branches to re-contract with "militias and members of the Baath Party and the 25th Division of Suhail al-Hassan's militia," adding that Iran will provide financial and military support to the new contracted elements to implement the cordon around Aleppo.
It pointed to the opening of several offices in various quarters, including branches of the Baath Party and the Military Hospital in Aleppo, in addition to offices in the security and information branches to submit applications for affiliation with attractive salaries amounting to about $200 for each contractor.
