ARK News… A delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria participated in the reconciliation between two families in the countryside of Qamishlo, in Syrian Kurdistan, following a traffic accident.

The party delegation was headed by Muhammad Salih Shalal, a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria.

An accident took place last Tuesday on the Derik-Tirbaspiye Road between a car, Mustafa Youssef was traveling from near Tal Khanzir, and a motorcycle, which Hussein Assaf was riding from the village of Mashouq Al-Ghamir (Al-Thawra), as a result of which Hussein died before arriving at the hospital.

The party delegation had attended the burial ceremonies in the village of Mashouq in the city of Tirbaspiye, in the countryside of Qamishlo.

Reconciliation was concluded today between the two families in the presence of the party delegation and a large crowd under the supervision of Abdul Karim and Saeed Pasha, notables of the Miran clan on the one hand, and Sheikh Mahmoud Shawakh al-Borsan, representing the victim's family, on the other hand.
