Congress warns of the collapse of the security forces in Iraq and Syria

ARK News… The US military admitted to achieving little progress in the efforts exerted to train the security forces in Iraq and Syria to fight the Islamic State, and this angered some analysts who expected a repeat of the scenario of previous military collapses.
In a recent congressional report, it was stated that US-trained forces in Iraq "have not made significant gains in the ability to combat the Islamic State." Among these efforts is Operation Inherent Resolve.
"If all we do is what we present today, we will see the meltdown happen again," said Jonathan Lord, a senior member of the Center for a New America's Security.
