A leader of ISIS was killed in an American raid, east of Aleppo
ARK News... On Sunday, July 9, 2023, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) revealed the death of a leader in the terrorist organization "ISIS", which targeted him in an air strike, two days ago, near the city of Al-Bab, east of Aleppo.
The US command said that a US drone carried out a raid, last Friday, killing Osama al-Muhajir, one of the leaders of ISIS in eastern Syria.
The commander of the US Central Command, Mike Eric Cruella, stated that the command has made clear its commitment to defeating ISIS throughout the region, because it remains a threat in the region and beyond as well.
Cruella indicated that there are no indications that any civilians were killed in this strike, and the international coalition is working to evaluate reports indicating that civilians were injured.
According to the "Centcom" statement, the "al-Muhajir" is probably the same Hammam al-Khadr (Abu Anas), who was killed in a raid carried out by an MQ-9 drone of the International Coalition, last Friday, in the city of Biza'a near the al-Bab area, east of Aleppo.
