ARK News… The World Food Program in Syria pinned its hopes on the results of the Seventh Brussels Conference, which provided grants to the Syrian people worth $10 billion.

It also considered that the financial grants are an opportunity for the program to reconsider the decision to stop aid for 2.5 million people in Syria, in light of the support provided by the European Union.

Program official Lina Al-Qassab said: The decision to reduce food aid stems entirely from the inability of the available resources to continue the current level of assistance.

She also made it clear that meeting the needs of Syrian families requires long-term interventions for early recovery, and a sustained effort to promote peace, stability, and livelihood opportunities.
