Idlib... The Syrian Civil Defense organizes a mourning vigil for the lives of the victims of a boat sinking near Greece, and demands that Assad be held accountable
ARK News... Syrian Civil Defense volunteers organized a stand on the runway of Tahrir Park in the city of Idlib today, Sunday, June 18, to mourn the souls of the victims who sank in a boat off the coast of Greece.
During the stand, the volunteers lit candles and raised banners calling for an investigation to be opened into the reasons for the boat's sinking and for the Assad regime to be held accountable, which displaced Syrians and forced them to make this choice.
The Syrian National Coalition and the Syrian Negotiation Commission, on Friday, June 16, 2023affirmed that the Assad regime bears full responsibility for the continuation of migration and the flow of waves of asylum, due to its repressive approach and the continuous human rights violations it commits against the Syrian people and the continued detention and torture in its prisons.
