ARK News... Syrian regime militants arrested a citizen from the town of Sayda, in the countryside of Daraa Governorate, in 2021, and his family shortly learned of his death.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights said that Rami Muhammad al-Hariri, from the town of Sayda in the eastern suburbs of Daraa Governorate, at the age of 37, was arrested by members of the Syrian regime in 2021 when he passed one of its checkpoints in the city of Damascus while trying to go to The Syrian-Lebanese border to cross to the Lebanese side in an unofficial way, and he was among those who settled his security situation earlier.

SNHR added: Almost since that time, he has been forcibly disappeared; Given the Syrian regime's denial of detaining him or allowing anyone, even a lawyer, to visit him.

The aforementioned network confirmed: On 14-06-2023, his family learned that he was registered in the Civil Registry Department and that he had died, and we have information that he was in good health when he was arrested. Which is highly likely his death due to torture and neglect of health care.
