Afrin:The return of a number of Kurdish families to the Afrin region
ARK News… Two Kurdish families have returned to their hometowns in Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan, according to a private source who reported it on June 13, 2023.
The two families hail from the village of Araba of Mabata town - in the countryside of Afrin.
A source from Shiye town in the countryside of Afrin city said on June 12 that another displaced family in Aleppo had returned to their hometown in the town.
Two Kurdish families had recently returned to their hometown in Afrin, according to a source from the city who reported it a few days before June 9. One family returned from Germany to Jenderes, while another returned from the Kurdistan Region to its village in Shara town.
On May 26, 2023, a family descended from the village of Dersiwan and returned from the city of Aleppo to their hometown in the village of Dersiwan.
Last month, three Kurdish families who were displaced in the city of Aleppo returned to their hometowns in the villages of Afrin. Among those families, two families descend from the village of Eyn Hecerê and a family from the village of Qurigulê at the beginning of this month.
Despite the violations taking place in the region, the campaign for the return of the displaced, displaced persons and refugees of Afrin to their city and villages continues, and the families return from the al-Shahba camps and neighborhoods of the city of Aleppo, as well as from Lebanon, Turkey, and the Kurdistan Region.
Politicians and observers call for the need for the displaced and refugees to return to their homes in order to prevent any demographic change in the Kurdish regions, especially in Afrin, Serê kaniyê, and Girê Spî.
