Afrin ... Kokane villagers between forced displacement and the death threats

ARK News: An armed group attacked a house in the village of Kokane belonging to Mabata town in the Kurdish region of Afrin and threated the owner of the house to evacuate his house to inhabit instead of some relatives of the gunmen under the threat of killing.

According to the Human Rights Organization in Afrin that a group of armed elements of the pro-Turkish Hazmat group that control of the villages of Kokane threated the Kurdish civilian Mohammed Jamil Hamid 33 years old to evacuate his house and the houses of other villagers to inhabit instead of some relatives of the gunmen from Idlib province under the threat of killing, where the decision raised the resentment of the villagers and marched towards Mabata town to complain, but the gunmen in the checkpoint prevented them from completing their march, where the gunmen shot fire towards the villagers randomly injuring many of them.

The Organization said that during the march the armed elements opened fire randomly to prevent them from completing their march, wounding some of them, and below are the following:

1- Mohammed Battal, 60 years old, injured in his leg
2- Hanan Misto injured in his leg
3- Zaynab Hamid injured in her leg
4- Nazir Hisso injury in the ear
5- Hussein Abu Hussein suffered from abnormalities in his body
6- Hasan Mohammed fractures prevent him from the movement
7- Alifa wife of Mohammed Aref Qasim
8- Jamil Omar
9- Amina wife of Mohamed Ibo

The Organization added that the gunmen arrested Mohammed Jamil Humid and brutally tortured him, causing injuries to his face, loss of eyesight and hearing damage.

It is worth mentioning that violations by the armed factions loyal to the Turkish army against civilians in Afrin region continue from imposing taxes, kidnappings, ransom, burning forests for firewood, and accusing the Kurds of extorting them financially to reach a comprehensive demographic change after forcing the Kurds to leave their homes.
