Qaraqoch: Turkey participated in the Geneva meeting in the context of seeking to advance a political solution in Syria
ARK News... The Director General of the Syrian file in the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Kurhan Qaraqoch, said, on Sunday, June 4, 2023, said that the return of Syrian refugees to their country will be at the end of the political process.
In statements made by Qaraqoch at the meeting of the Syrian Negotiation Commission held in the Swiss city of Geneva, he indicated that Turkey participated in the meeting of the Syrian Negotiation Commission to show its support and advocacy in the context of seeking to push for a political solution in Syria.
The ambassador stressed that reaching a solution in Syria in accordance with the United Nations resolution is a basic priority for Turkey.
Qarqqoch pointed out that the quadrilateral meetings he is arranging in Moscow between Turkey, the Syrian regime, Iran and Russia are continuing in coordination with the Syrian opposition.
