Al-Hasakah... two children drowned while swimming in Al-Khabour
ARK News… Two children lost their lives in two separate accidents, Thursday, after they drowned in the Khabour River, in the countryside of the city of Hasakah, in Syrian Kurdistan.
Local sources reported that the child, Anas Ahmed Al-Khider, 14, drowned while he was swimming in the Khabour River in the town of Tal Tamr.
The sources added that the 13-year-old Abboud Al-Khalaf also drowned while he was swimming in the Khabour River near the village of Al-Anikzi, west of Al-Hasakah.
On May 30, the water rescue teams of the Syrian Civil Defense recovered the body of a young man who drowned in the Orontes River, west of Idlib, after searches that lasted for three days.
