ARK News… The Syrian regime continues its campaign of arbitrary arrests against Syrian citizens in the areas under its control and arrested a citizen in the countryside of the capital, Damascus.
Media sources have published that members of the Syrian regime's armed forces arrested Osama Ahmed Khamis, an IT engineer, from the town of Kanaker in the western countryside of Damascus, on May 28, 2023, in the city of Damascus, and took him to an unknown destination.
The media sources confirmed that the arrest did not take place through a legal arrest warrant issued by a court and that no one of his relatives was informed of his arrest, his phone was confiscated and he was prevented from communicating with his family or his lawyer.
