Today, Saturday, May 27, 2023, the final match of the Kickboxing World Championship will be held in Essen, Germany, between the Kurdish youth Ahmed Sheikh Musa “Golden Boy” and his Thai opponent “PETCH”, the world champion for five years.
Politicians, media figures, activists, and pioneers of social networking sites sympathized with the player, Ahmed Sheikh Musa, wishing him profit and crowning him as a world champion, while some of them considered that his arrival to this stage in itself was a victory for the Kurds.
Raising the slogan "For the Kurds and Kurdistan", the Kurdish "Golden Boy" meets his Thai opponent in the final of the World Kickboxing Championship in Germany.
Ahmed Sheikh Musa was born in the city of Amouda in Syrian Kurdistan in 2000. He immigrated to Germany in 2014 and started practicing kickboxing in 2016.
