Russia: Supplying Ukraine with F-16s will expose the West to “enormous” risks
ARK News… Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Groucho was quoted by the Tass news agency on Saturday as saying that Western countries would face "huge risks" if they supplied Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets.
This came in response from Groucho to a question about the repercussions of aircraft supplies that Ukraine is requesting from NATO countries.
Senior US officials said Ukraine had not yet secured commitments to deliver the planes, but US President Joe Biden told G7 leaders on Friday that Washington supports joint training programs for Ukrainian F-16 pilots.
TASS quoted Groucho as saying, “We see that Western countries are still committed to the escalation scenario. It carries huge risks for them.”
"In any case, this will be taken into account in all our plans, and we have all the necessary means to achieve the goals we have set," he added.
