China threatens to crush Taiwan's autonomy
ARK News... China, on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, threatened to crush Taiwan's autonomy, in light of reports that the United States is accelerating the supply of defensive weapons and sending advisors to the self-ruled island.
Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Tan Kefei said that Beijing is ready to resolutely crush any form of Taiwan independence.
The spokesman added, at a press conference on Tuesday, that the recent increase in exchanges between the US and Taiwanese militaries is "a very dangerous and wrong move."
He added that the Chinese army is continuing its preparations and will resolutely crush any form of Taiwanese secession as well as attempts at external interference, and will resolutely defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
