Opening of the Barzani National Museum
ARK News… In the presence of President Masoud Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, today, Thursday, May 11, 2023, the Kurdistan Region is hosting a significant historical event, with the opening of the Barzani National Memorial, the "Barzani Museum" near the shrine of the immortals in Barzan.
Dozens of senior Iraqi officials, ambassadors, and representatives of the countries of the world flocked to the Barzan region to participate in the opening of the Barzani Museum, where the ceremony began with the official reception of the participating delegations and guests of the Kurdistan Region, and laying wreaths at the shrine of the immortals.
The Barzani National Memorial (Barzani Museum) commemorates the immortal Mulla Mustafa Barzani.
The museum includes rare pictures of the immortal Mulla Mustafa Barzani, along with pieces of his belongings and clothes in which he fought during the battles for the liberation of Kurdistan.
