Surrender of a Syrian murder suspect to German police
ARK News… German authorities, on Friday, announced the arrest of a wanted man in connection with the shooting death of a 24-year-old Syrian citizen in the western town of Ludenscheid, after he surrendered to the police.
Prosecutors in the western German city of Hagen said the 23-year-old suspect was also a Syrian national and knew the victim, who died in hospital hours after he was shot in the nearby town of Ludenscheid.
Police immediately refused to provide further details about the suspect or the circumstances of the shooting.
Hundreds of thousands of Syrians have come to Germany since the beginning of the Syrian revolution more than a decade ago.
