A strong speech from the representative of the Kurdish National Council in the Jenderes uprising

Ahmed Hassan, representative of the Kurdish National Council in Syria within the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, delivered a fiery speech on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, during the demonstrations condemning the martyrdom of four Kurdish civilians at the hands of the militants of the Jaysh Al Islam (Eastern Army)in the city of Jenderes in the countryside of Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan.

In his speech, Ahmed Hassan, the representative of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, called for the prosecution and fair trial of the murderers and perpetrators and the removal of all armed factions in Afrin, its cities, and villages.

In a video clip, Hassan said in his speech: "Get out of Afrin - referring to the militants - and freedom for Afrin and its people, and we demand international protection for Afrin."

He added, "Long live the Kurds and long live Kurdistan. These are our martyrs, the martyrs of the Kurds and Kurdistan, and the martyrs of Newroz, and the martyrs are eternal among us."

"We are all martyrs of Newroz," he said in his speech.

In a racist operation, four Kurdish civilians were martyred by the militants of the Jaysh Al Islam Eastern Army in the city of Jenderes, because they lit the Newroz flame, and they are from the Peshmerg family:
-Farahuddin Othman, 43 years old
-Ismail Othman, 38 years old
-Muhammad Ismail Othman, 18 years old
- Muhammad Othman 42

The burial ceremony of the martyrs took place yesterday, in which tens of thousands participated, in which they demanded the removal of all the factions and the placement of Afrin under international protection.
