The Kurds in Zakho respond to the call of PDK-S in the relief of the cities of Afrin and Jenderes

ARK News... In response to the appeal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria to provide relief to the cities of Afrin and Jenderes in Kurdistan, Syria, on the third day in a row, the party's office in the city of Zakho receives donors to provide relief to the afflicted there.

The leadership of the Kurdistan Region-Syria office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria called on the masses, its members, and supporters in the Kurdistan Region in a distress call published last Tuesday, to contribute to a campaign to collect financial and in-kind assistance for the people of the affected areas, especially Afrin Jenderes.

And the text of the appeal, ARK received a copy of it, stated: While we condole the Syrian and Turkish people for the disaster that befell them as a result of the earthquake that occurred on February 6, 2023, we condole ourselves and our people in the Afrin, Jenderes, and all the Kurdish towns and villages that were affected by the disaster.

The leadership added: "At a time when the international community has rushed to help Turkey and Syria to some extent, we find it our duty to provide all possible assistance to our people in the Afrin and Jenderes and elsewhere."

It continued, "Therefore, we appeal to the masses of our people and the members and supporters of our party in the Kurdistan Region, to take the initiative to provide assistance to our people in northern Syria, especially in Afrin and Jenderes, which were subjected to this disaster, and the region has turned into a disaster area, and the situation has become catastrophic and tragic in the absence of sufficient capabilities to provide assistance and support the stranded." And pull them out from under the collapsed buildings, where the people work with primitive tools and their hands to save those who can be saved."

The leadership emphasized, "We, in the leadership of the Kurdistan Region of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, call on everyone to contribute to the campaign to collect financial and in-kind assistance for our people in the affected areas, especially Afrin and Jenderes.
