ARK News… After suffering a stroke, he died on Tuesday, 13-12-2022, in a hospital in the city of Dohuk. The fighter Ahmed Battal Ossi, a member of the Area Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria and an officer within the Roj Peshmerga forces.
In the presence of the leadership of Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, officers from Roj Peshmerga, and a large gathering of the Kurdish people in the camps of the Kurdistan Region, the fighter Ahmed Battal Ossi was buried in the Masurik cemetery in Dohuk.

He was born in the village of Musisana, affiliated to the city of Amuda, in 1960 AD, where he studied the primary stage and finished middle and high school in the city of Qamishlo, and then the Teachers Training Institute in Al-Hasaka Governorate.
He joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in his prime, in 1978.
In 2017, he joined the ranks of the Roj Peshmerga becoming an officer with the rank of lieutenant.
He was persecuted and dismissed from the teaching staff during his struggle by the tyrannical Baathist regime, on charges of endangering state security.
With his departure, the Roj organization of PDK-S lost one of its most prominent organizational pillars and lofty figures that set examples of dedication and sincerity to the Kurdish approach, the immortal Barzani approach.
