Iran: The death toll from the protests, shot by live bullets, in the city of Khash has risen to 16

ARK News… The "Iran International" website, on Saturday, revealed the deterioration of the situation in the city of Khash, in the province of Sistan-Baluchistan, southeast of Iran, where the protests there resulted in the death toll from Iranian security bullets to more than 16 dead and dozens injured.

Citizens in the cities of Sistan-Baluchistan province, including Sarwan, Zahedan, and Khash, organized protest rallies on Friday after completing Friday prayers.

The protesters in Zahedan raised the slogans "Death to the Revolutionary Guards," "Death to Khamenei," "From Zahedan to Tehran, my soul is sacrificed for Iran," and "I will kill whoever killed my brother."

It was reported that the Iranian security forces in Khash opened fire from the rooftop of the city's mayoral building on the protesters after they gathered in front of the building.

After a number of people in Khash were injured as a result of shooting by security forces, a number of protesters organized a gathering in front of the medical emergency.

Video clips from the massive protests in the city of Khash documented heavy shootings by security forces toward demonstrators in the city's streets.
