The Kurdistan Democratic Party renews confidence in its president, Masoud Barzani, and elects Nechirvan and Masrour Barzani as his two deputies

ARK News… During the first day of the 14th party conference, which started in the city of Duhok, and lasts for 3 days, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) renewed confidence in its president, Masoud Barzani, while Nechirvan Barzani was elected as first vice president and Masrour Barzani as his second deputy.

The work of conference was launched in the morning, in the presence of President Masoud Barzani, the deputy head of the party, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, the head of the regional government, Masrour Barzani, and 1,020 delegates to the conference from leaders and party members.

The current 14th conference bears the slogan "Renewal, Justice, Coexistence".

The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, announced earlier this morning, Thursday, the start of the work of the conference, saying in a tweet on the Twitter platform, "The work of the 14th conference of the Kurdistan Democratic Party begins today in Duhok, and on this occasion, I congratulate all members and cadres of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the people of Kurdistan.

"I hope that the results and recommendations of the 14th KDP Congress will serve the higher interests of our people," he added.
