The two sides discussed the latest developments in the Iraqi political arena after the election of the President of the Republic.
The two parties stressed the urging of steps regarding the formation of the new Iraqi government in accordance with the electoral benefits, and the need to implement the program agreed upon with all parties participating in the political process so that this program would serve as a road map that charts the course of the political process in Iraq and push it towards achieving stability.
Attention was emphasized on the role of women and their empowerment, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party was always a pioneer in presenting active women and giving them a distinct role to advance society.
