Russian Foreign Ministry summons the French ambassador over arms supplies to Ukraine
ARK News… The Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday announced that it had summoned the French ambassador to Moscow, Pierre Levy, to provide clarifications on Paris' military-technical support for Ukraine.
On October 6, the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Russian Federation, Pierre Levy, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow, and Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Groucho gave basic assessments of military-technical support to Ukraine from France and other Western countries.
"The Russian side noted the threats arising from the increased supply of weapons and equipment to the Kyiv regime, and the intensification of training programs for the Ukrainian army," the ministry added.
The ministry stressed that "particular emphasis was placed on the fact that this line contradicts the assurances of officials in Paris about their interest in a peaceful settlement in Ukraine."
