The home of the Japanese ambassador to Lebanon was hit by a "stray bullet"
ARK News… The Japanese ambassador to Lebanon, Takeshi Okubo, Thursday evening announced that his house in Beirut was hit by a stray bullet, in an incident that is the second of its kind, he said.
Takeshi Okubo wrote in Arabic on his account documented on "Twitter": "For the second time, my residence was subjected to a stray bullet, most likely from the type of Kalashnikov."
He added, "This time the bullet rebounded and landed in the hall of the house, but no one was hurt. I am very sad about what is happening."
The Japanese ambassador called on the shooters in the air to stop this phenomenon, so as not to turn it into "harm or tragedy for others."
The Japanese diplomat, who is fluent in Arabic, published 3 photos documenting the bullet that hit his residence.
Okubo had said last May that his house was also hit by a stray bullet, during celebrations for the results of the parliamentary elections in Lebanon.
