Kurdistan Regional Government condemns Iranian bombing

ARK News... the Kurdistan Regional Government, On Wednesday, "strongly" condemned the Iranian bombing of areas inside the Kurdistan Region, calling for an end to these attacks and a violation of the sovereignty of the region's lands.

An official statement of the Kurdistan Regional Government said, "We strongly condemn the repeated violations and violations of the sovereignty of the territories of the Kurdistan Region."

The statement added, "The bombing of the opposition headquarters by the Islamic Republic of Iran, with any pretext, is a wrong position and a distortion of the course of events and is surprising."

The statement added, "We condemn such attacks that continue on our lands and cause civilian casualties, and these attacks must be ended."

Many headquarters of Iranian Kurdish opposition parties inside the Kurdistan Region were bombed this morning by booby-trapped Iranian drones, and the attacks continued until noon.

The bombing targeted the headquarters of the Iranian Kurdistan Democratic Party in Koya district, north of the capital, Erbil. The attacks also targeted the headquarters of the opposition "Komla" party, in the village of Zarghwiz within the borders of Sulaimaniyah Governorate, and the headquarters of the Kurdistan Freedom Party in the Sherawa area near Pirde (Altun Kopri) district. Located on the road between Erbil and Kirkuk, and left about 50 martyrs and wounded.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard had claimed the attacks, which began at 10:30 local time in the Kurdistan Region, stressing that it had used precision missiles and suicide attack drones in the bombing operations.
