ARK News... With the start of the new school year in the Kurdistan Region, the Kurdistan government has published a statistic on the number of schools and students for this year.
According to statistics, the number of students is approximately two million, while the number of schools is approximately seven thousand.
According to the list, the statistic is as follows: Students: 1,800,232, of whom 1,664,122 students are in government schools, while, 136,110 are in private schools.
Schools: 6,758 of which 6,758 are public schools, 492 are private schools.
Teachers: 150,816, including 141,288 teachers in government schools.
